Mar 2011 | Scala London & Allisports feature

» Graham SmithPhotoshoot

Felt like time we had more photos, so here’s an album of new ones by Graham Smith, who did great stuff for the band myself and Rodger were in previously.

» Scala London w/ Bloc Party

This month was the gig at Scala London that we’d been planning for a while, on a bill with Russell Lissack of Bloc Party.  It went great in the end, despite John’s flight being cancelled.  It won’t be the last gig we’ve had on no sleep though.

It was great to meet some of the people that had supported us from early on.  So thanks to Dan, Domi, Justin Wayne & Jamie, Elise, Darren, Seamus and anyone else who made the trip.  Here’s a video of Triggerfinger from the gig, and also a photo album.

The set was: Triggerfinger, Nobody Wants To Know, Song of Lust, Burning The Tracks, If I Could & You Ever Would, Satellite, We Were The Ones.

» Best In British Music
Tara O was very kind to plug the Scala gig on her Best In British Music show this month.  Download the episode here, or listen to our bit directly here.  Also she played “Burning The Tracks”, which is here.  It’s a great show, broadcasting on CHUO FM in Canada aswell as her site.

» Allisports feature on Louie Vito
“We Were The Ones” has been used as the soundtrack to a feature on snowboarder Louie Vito.  Wanna thank them for that and hopefully a lot of people get to see it.  Any wakeboarders?  We’d love to soundtrack every extreme sport.  Here’s the video.

That’s it for this month.  Thanks to those who came to Scala and helped make it a success.  Keep checking back, as we’re working hard on the first album.  We’re also on facebook and twitter, and have a mailing list.
